    5600x - OC to 4.8 on air w/ Noctua more than likely. The Dark Hero ASUS board apparently lets you OC the base core while keeping the boost enabled, kinda jelly i hate Asus now. They are extensions - your PSU cables plug into them and they plug into the GPU and motherboard.

    Eh - i have games, multi monitors, multiple browsers and apps going on a piddly 3600 - somehow i dont think it would be an issue on a 5600x - my plex server is also ran from the same system too.

    "Saving the worse for last" Neg - and it actually wasnt the best at mozilla compile either going from other reviewers that showed those results - Seems the 5600x is the best gaming cpu since when it OC it just 1-2% below the 5800x but for considerably less.

    I wouldnt say they got the crown - it was alot of back and forth but it seemed like AMD won more than lost in the 1440p/4k while clearly winning in 1080p. If they keep having nice increases like this every couple years im quite eager to see the performance they manage on 5nm.

    Finally got my last uni fan, ordered a 7inch panel that I’m going to actually put where the PSU to display various info. Hopefully ekwb comes out this month for the 3090 and Thermaltake stops their fuckin bs with the distro-plate so I can do some of the tubing.

    I havent had a driver issue with the 5700XT or R9 Fury when i had them, but i know people on forums griped over it.

    I've yet to use RayTracing in a single game - main reason is i dont even usually turn shadows on beyond low - RT has never been a factor.
