    It's honestly still baffling to me. I realize they were without their starting safeties, but the way the defense played was just awful. They couldn't tackle for shit either. Dunno, hoping the 49ers somehow wake up and at least play competitive tomorrow. Not holding my breath though.

    I do not understand why they don't change the rules, that if you get a penalty near the goal line that is half the distance, why they don't just push the 1st down marker out further. Half the distance to the goal when you are on the half yard line, is not a penalty.

    Yeah I think the chances of him getting super upset, or upsetting the locker room, are pretty low. The season is half over so he can't have sky high expectations, and worst case scenario he is a #3 or #4 WR and gets a ring out of it.
