It will have a short lifespan if they have no definitive end game - Destiny has raids/crucible/playlist(albeit shitty). This just has Dark Zone pvp/e and?... I mean the story mission they had in the alpha was enjoyable as an instanced event but id hope they have grander plans than just that.

Eh this combat seems more oriented for a gamepad - i used my gaming mouse and g13 to somewhat meld as many combos together as possible - If you've played it and are ok with how the combat works then so be it but its quite a curve from a traditional MMO for sure.

I fiddled with a ranger a bit - it was ok but i felt like i was doing DDR with all the bouncing and twisting from abilities.

Mobs do not seem to scale an you can run into tough monsters if you go far off track - Pawns that you pick up at random do not level with you so you will have to swap them out every few levels or else they will get wrecked.

Yeah im pretty curious about that as wlel - from what ive seen on videos the max level is 20 - i was able to get to 8 on the Alpha and i only did one story mission. Im hoping it has a good bit to do after you max level and something akin to a raid story or something.

Did you play the Alpha? The game played thus far is very solid - The PVP is optional if you want to do it but id suggest you go in with friends and not solo unless youre ready to be merc'd at random. The beta is at the end of the month so best for ppl to check it out for themselves.
