Just found out the 49ers released LaMichael James today. While he hasn't been a huge contributor to the team so far, they are pretty thin at RB until Lattimore heals up, so I found it a bit surprising. I guess he really wanted out and the 49ers were tired of him asking for it, so they let him go.

I am, and I have even posted that I was super dubious about our defense with all the injuries, suspensions, and turnover from last year. Clearly I should have known they would be fine playing against Romo...

When there is a penalty like that and they are that close to the end zone, they should push the first down marker further out. So it would still be 1st and 15 instead of 1st and 10 but the ball moves back a half yard.
