For me it was after 5pm on April 2nd when I first saw and then clicked on the link. So I wasn't thinking April fools.
Yeah I'm in a different part of the world, what of it!!
My older sister is retired, she is about to turn 57
But she had a health scare combined with a high pressure job. She decided to just say "fuck it!" and opt out of working.
She had made a couple of smart investments back in the early 2000's and with her husbands income, they can afford it
Those 40 foot shipping containers on the ship are half the width of the road deck ( perhaps a little more than ). Gives a good sense of scale.
That footage of the collapse is horrible to watch, you can see the headlights and pick out individual cars as everything just drops away below them.
I saw this trailer a few days ago.
Sydney Sweeney as a nun???
Not saying she's not a good actress, but that's a role for her.
edit: gotta say it though . . . what is Immaculate is her titties.
I was tinkering with it, trying to get some Aliens like images of the base. I started with Xenomorph in shot, most of them looked wrong and the Xenomorph was shown as a "major feature" when I just wanted him lurking subtly in a dark side part of image. But I was liking the look of the base etc...
Good point, I didn't even notice the T-shirt / hairy chest combo.
I think, it's a very convincing AI art. If you look closely, there's odd things: his hands on the burger / the jumbled Coca-Cola logo on the cup. old guy in background's forearm/ hand area. The fries container with a drinking...
Kinda a waste of a Mr Plinkett video. That was just a list of nerd level nit-picks. Plinkett reviews are normally a much more complete de-construction of a film
This one could have done as the nerd crew
^^^
Yeah I guess that's kinda a forgotten film. I went and saw 2010 in the cinema when it came out. We were a bunch of sci-fi nerds and 2001 had been up our alley. Can't say I've ever heard much about it since.
The first reference I got of this was in a Youtube video ( always a great source of info , yeah yeah )
But it showed a clip, which I couldn't find, but is mentioned here:

I love the return to Fantasy artwork again guys.
Now I break the combo.
AI image generators are such powerful tools, I used the most simple prompt:
cool car
One image is 'concept art' the other is 'cinematic' or 'professional photo' <- I forget which it was.
Both of these look like...
I had been delivery driver for a local Domino's Pizza. I tell people that all is good with the food there. About the closest thing to having an issue was when they build line had a supreme pizza to make, they'd use that as an opportunity to do a quick scoop up of the misc bits and toppings that...
Prompt:
man, in grey singlet, black trousers, bare feet, night, on top of tall building jumps toward camera, entire background is filled with massive fiery explosions, action movie
And with a change to image style . . . . .
Hot Shots part 2
I had seen it in the cinema with friends when it first came out. I still remember it being the most I'd laughed during a film.
I watched it again for the first time in forever. I was in the mood for some cheesey comedy I guess. And I got plenty of good laughs out of it again.
Okay, I tried a return to some of the early trends of this thread.
I went for some D&D type images:
But the florescent lights kinda ruin the look so I tried again.
