I'm sure I'll get flamed, because that's the way of this place, but ShowEQ is cheating. Maybe not the same way as warping is, but it certainly gives an unfair advantage over those who don't use it.

I'm a bit surprised that Krono prices haven't shot up faster, even without some plat dupe. An overabundance of loot plus what appears to be a lot more people trying to snatch up krono seems like a good recipe for high prices for them.

In this case, the plat dupe information came about after talks about how much people were making on GDKP raids, of which he had split from recently. I have no reason to doubt that there isn't a dupe. EQ has proved time and time again that players will find a new way when the old ones are...

I can respect not outing a source. If you do it, they probably won't be a source anymore. There are ways to present the evidence though without naming names. Nothing gets Darkpaw moving quickly to stop a problem than if it becomes public knowledge.

Mischief krono increase probably a result of a couple reasons, namely this dupe if it actually exists, and then GDKP guilds getting big paydays and immediately trying to buy up the Krono. You have that many people competing to buy krono, and its bound to go up in price just by that alone.

They either already cashed out and it doesn't matter, or they are like a lot of criminals who can't keep their mouth shut.

There are, just not to the same degree. Taking a big chunk of OW spawns, plus splitting DZs, plus just simply having a bigger guild, gives a lot of power to those who want to flip / control prices to some point. Plus, I think a lot of the other guilds are actually keeping more of there gear...
