From someone on steam forums: Mastery missions have a minimum haz level. Biome and class mod masteries are haz 3 and weapon masteries are 2-4 depending on the weapon.

They definitely nerfed the power in 1.0, Hazard 3 wipes me if I don't have some of the superior weapons/class or get lucky. I've got some gear as well but the stats are fairly minor so far, even on the legendary quality. Still can't figure out how to change hazard levels, I'll have to look on...

Anyone play Deep Rock Galactic Survivors since 1.0 launched? I've been doing Masteries and can't for the life of me figure out how to change the Hazard level. It seems to be stuck on Hazard 3 and shows no options to change it/no button works to switch it. This is on Steam deck.
