The rates were too high, they lowered it. At these new rates you can unlock Vader in an hour and all 6 of them in a couple of days. It's never been 40 hours to unlock a character. Repeating bullshit doesn't make it any less bullshit.

Forza 7 already has 4k, Horizon 3 won't get all the goodies until January. Get 7 if you're a traditional racer type, get Horizon if you want a more open world/off road experience. I'll probably pick up Horizon with this sale, I haven't seen it cheaper.

You should watch that DF Doom tech analysis. They pretty much echo everything I said about the handheld vs tv screen and how blowing it up to a bigger screen, even with a slight resolution bump, still makes for a worse looking game. But what do they know, right?

The starship fighting in BF2 is pretty kick ass. You should check out the trial, it's basically a rental cost. One of the single player missions has you flying through the death star debris and dogfighting and it doesn't suck either.

They limit the amount of levels in singleplayer. I'm playing on the X and theu fixed all the graphical bullshit. Film grain, chromatic aberration, vignette, lens distortion are all toggles and the UI isn't that shimmering mess. The game looks damn sexy now.
