why wouldn't it be legal for the kicker to come out? he's a member of one of the teams and the field is on timeout.
Unbelievable...so much fail from Fox, Manning, the clowns in the Denver secondary, etc. Hard to believe Baltimore couldn't put it away in regulation.
Because it's a free kick. That's what the lil practice nets on the sideline are for.

What's stopping every single team on a drive that has to kick a game winning FG from just calling timeout and practicing kicks? The more I think about it the more I think it shouldn't be allowed actually. That's like a player in basketball going out and practicing free throws on timeout, that's a technical.
Denver had no business losing that game. Baltimore put the screws to Champ Bailey and beat up the 2nd ranked defense in their own house.
Was going to post this but figured I would just quote it. Hindsight is 20/20 though, considering it could of been a hell of a lot shorter of a game if they gave him the ball and he pulled the same shit he did in OT.
