Yeah, I've never even heard of such shenanigans. That ending left a sour taste in my mouth ... Kicker coming on the field to kick practice kicks during a timeout? No way that can possibly be allowed.
Because it's a free kick. That's what the lil practice nets on the sideline are for.why wouldn't it be legal for the kicker to come out? he's a member of one of the teams and the field is on timeout.
My Wakandan. There's nothing more I'd like to see than San Fransico lose by having Kapernick throwing the game. Fuck you assholes for ditching Alex Smith.
What's stopping every single team on a drive that has to kick a game winning FG from just calling timeout and practicing kicks? The more I think about it the more I think it shouldn't be allowed actually. That's like a player in basketball going out and practicing free throws on timeout, that's a technical.why wouldn't it be legal for the kicker to come out? he's a member of one of the teams and the field is on timeout.
Was going to post this but figured I would just quote it. Hindsight is 20/20 though, considering it could of been a hell of a lot shorter of a game if they gave him the ball and he pulled the same shit he did in OT.I blame this on forcing the Bronco's to kneel with time left and time outs, and forcing Manning to run the ball. Should have let him do his thing, that is why you hired him.
