Every time I try to check when the Mad Men premiere is I learn anew that amc apparently doesn't want me to know.

Spring, I assume.

Edit: Meh, it looks like they're going to do a split season anyway, so fuck them.

Awesome thread info, thanks. I almost forgot Archer starts up so soon. Between that, Sherlock, and Justified I will have a happy January.

I am really curious about that Black Sails show. I could see it really sucking, or being really awesome. Hopefully Starz learned from the successes and failures of Spartacus and give us some solid writing...and lots and lots of tits.

Err, you do notice that between Jan 25 and Feb 26 there are a total of two things on the list - and one of those is just on the internet!

But for your larger point, its a no-win situation, as its the end of sweeps.

From what I've seen, most networks are taking a grab bag approach, with new episodes before The Olympics start and then a mix of repeats, mini-series, and weird experiments during them. (For instance, Tuesdays on Fox have a different schedule every single week in February.)

House of Cards.

Also, I haven't heard anything about this Spoils of Babylon miniseries, but it's got some names:
