2017 NHL Playoffs Thread

Fuck Pittsburgh. Caps just need to play like the first 55 minutes of that game again. Still tired of Ovechkin on 3rd line. Eller does great on the boards and cycling the puck, but he doesn't enter the zone with control enough. About all we got out of it (although it seemed to wear guys down) was letting Ovechkin and Wilson on that line forecheck the shit out of Pens' D.

More shifts for Ovechkin would work when we have 2 quality centers now. Maybe it's just Eller that kills me. Dude will cycle the puck and hold onto it forever and ignore his teammates far too often while he just tries to stick-handle through the entire D himself. Was probably why Burakovsky wasn't scoring on that line.

Bishop could still be good. A 4th isn't much to give up to have negotiating rights before free agency starts.

Well...if the Caps and Ducks manage to win tonight, I will have nailed 3 series in 2nd round perfectly even down to the # of games. Got Sens/Rags right in that it was 6 games, but wrong team.
