intense game last night, with chara and the other guy out, the bruins defense was not sharp and effective at getting the puck out of the zone. and it showed, blues played imo their best game of the playoffs, very intense, lots of hard hits etc.

liked the game even though the bruins lost...which is what i thought would happen after the first 10 minutes of the game before chara went out. blues were playing as oi the series ended last night. (which most likely it effectlively would have if they had lost)

Nice that we're getting a long series here. Still rooting for the Blues obviously, but the potential for a Game 7 in the SCF would be pretty sweet...

UPDATE on chara and grzelcyk

chara skated at this morning's practice and is -supposedly- cleared to play tonite just will have the full face mask on due to the broken jaw
Grzelcyk -skated at this morning's practice in a BLACK contact jersey and might be clear to play tonite.

according to the HC, both are going to be Game time Decisions:

Unable to speak, Chara provided written responses to two questions presented to the Bruins PR staff by the PHWA.

On playing through injured he said:

"At this time of the playoffs, everyone has injuries and there are challenges that you have to overcome to play. I’m no different than any player on either team."

As for potentially risking further injury, he said:

“You don’t think about that. You think about playing. You don’t go into a game thinking you might get hurt.”
