I mean people have always dodged the game for a variety of reasons and it definitely ramped up when the game got slotted before the Superbowl. That said, disparaging the 9th best player in a conference at a single player position is not nice!

Honestly, I am more annoyed with Shedeur over Flacco.

Give Flacco a trip there before he retires for real, I'm fine with him getting to go once over nearly two decades.

But fucking Shedeur Sanders? Year one, more interceptions than TDs, and a QBR (which admittedly isn't perfect, but is something) that is ranked ~#49 for 2025 QBs?

Rodgers, Tua, Geno, and even Dillon Gabriel have better statistical arguments than Shedeur. At least Tyler Huntley went .500 and kept his team's playoff spot in his pro bowl year.

I always wondered if an alternate immediately declines do they still get listed or do they just get ignored and someone else gets selected. I know once they've been announced they're still a probowl selection even if they end up not going.

So I as a point never watch the Pro Bowl or as I call it (I don't want to get hurt bowl) but I saw something that it was going to be flag? That's not real is it?

The Pro Bowl hasn't been a full contact game from the 2022 season on, turning into 1:1 position games (emulating the MLB Home Run Derby) and, yes, flag football.

No team (and likely very few players) wants to ruin their next season chances with a long-term injury.

yeah I 100% agree with them, and that's why I don't watch it.

They just need to abolish the pro bowl. When no one wants to play in it it's just meaningless. They should just announce who the players are and not bother with the actual game.

Just make it a skills competition ala combine. And attach a few million dollar prizes to it and some other incentives.

That's a big part of it. Also, the whole putting it before the Superbowl was the worst idea as if the 2 best teams wouldn't have players that should be in the game.

This shit has been happening in MLB for ever. The voters are always a bunch of faggots.
I was never a fan of the Pats, and I am still sickened by the 3pt loss by my Panthers to them in the SB but this is fucking stupid. Did Belichick piss that many people off?

Yes. They like to pretend every team doesn't cheat as much as they can. So they make it their duty to make a point. See Pete Rose and Barry Bonds etc.
