This is why you're such a fucking retard. I'll even ignore the fact that guys like Ortiz, Pudge, and Jeff Bagwell all made the HOF despite steroids for a second..

Prior to 1999 (the alleged year Bonds started steroids), these are Bonds' stats -

411 HRs
2,200 hits
.290 avg
.411 OBP
.556 SLG
.967 OPS
445 stolen bases
8 Gold Gloves
3 MVPs
and a WAR of 100.

Even if the guy never touches steroids and retired at age 33, he's STILL a HOFamer.
take this baseball shit to the gay forum.

The issue with that argument is that other steroid users got in. I'll use Ortiz. This dude may have had the greatest post season ever by any non pitcher, while he was on steroids.

Ortiz = extremely likable. In
Bonds = Grade A asshat. Out
This is what it comes down too. The Sports Writers are the majority of hall of fame voters and they are old curmudgeons. They hold serious grudges.

Also didn't Pete only bet on his team to win? Sure seems like not that big of an issue. Every player is betting on sports now and some against their team thanks to all the fantasy sports shit.

Ok seriously I figured someone would have posted the news about Tua being cut for a staggering 99m dead cap hit, which is what I was laughing hysterically about earlier.

Might still happen tbh, with coaching changes and Tua playing an average of 13-14 game per season...
It would be the biggest dead cap hit since Russell Wilson but that was already 4 years ago.
Bound to be beaten eventually. Hell I'm sure Deshaun Watsons real dead cap hit is way above that.

Why is that? Just curious.

we don't like being forced to like and consume something when it comes to sports, especially something viewed as foreign. Interesting tidbit. Back in early 00's espn launched a tv network in EU called NASN. It ran under various names for like a decade and it was focused on showing live US sports. NFL (3 games on sunday and MNF, all playoff games and SB) also NBA and NHL. I can't remember if it showed MLB games. And I watched it, especially the NFL. But it was eventually shut down because the numbers were abysmal. I really liked having a service like that. I can also tell you right now that I will not go watch an NFL game live in some EU city but I will attend one in a heartbeat if I was happen to be in US during the season. Despite what they (media) tells you, people in europe do not give a shit about NFL. And isn't it called a National Football League. Emphasis on the word national here. It also fucking rubs me the wrong way when SB champions call themselves world champions. What delusion of grandeur

When no one else in the world does what you do, you can call yourself World Champion by default. Winners of the World Series on the other hand....
