apparently tickets are a ‘bargain’ starting as low as 4-7k for nosebleeders. I guess previous Superbowls have been as much as 10k minimum ticket price . Something dumb about a major sporting event being just an event for the upper class

Boston and Seattle aren't the biggest markets. Obviously there's a lot of money in Seattle and its not that far a flight to San Fran, but not a ton of it is native to Seattle. And a lot of Boston has already had all the opportunities to go to a Super Bowl they could want.

Nice, good luck. I was debating just now putting some money on the Patriots money line. I haven't followed football at all for a few years though. Has anything impactful happened to have Seattle be a fairly large favorite, or have they been the favorite since the championships?

The Seahawks just looked like a better team through the playoffs. I don't like the Seahawks but I'll be surprised if they don't win today.

No, it means more people are betting money line on Seahawks. So if you bet on the pats like I did to reverse jinx you get a substantial amount more money on the moneyline. Vegas still thinks it’s gonna be close hence the spread so you are far better off taking a chance on the Pats winning outright and getting a much bigger payout via moneyline.
