Again: what actual football fan ever gave a shit about the halftime show unless they liked the artist or artists playing? Historically I watched the puppy bowl more than the half time show because watching a bunch of dogs run around is typically more interesting than whatever mainstream pop they have headlining the Super Bowl. Did you squeal with delight when Bruno Mars was playing a decade ago? I think the last time I showed any interest is when Tom Petty played, which was forever ago

None of you all follow the Pats I'm sure...but the O-line was historically bad (It was the worst in the NFL in 2024) last year hence them picking up the left gua...err tackle with their 4th overall pick. They did nothing else to address the line issue. McDaniel's did a great job scheming on most teams to get around this, but eventually no talent will catch up to you.

Now that they got to the Super Bowl, maybe the Krafts will spend some money on free agents and PAY THE FUCKERS WHAT THEY ARE WORTH. I think Rasheed Walker is a free agent this year. Lets see if they go after him and move Campbell to his natural position. Which they of course will not do. Cause you know...teams are stupid.

They also need receivers. They slid by with C-Tier talent overall. They need to spend their 1st two picks on WR and the rest will probably fall in place.

Maye needs to learn to throw the fuckin ball away instead of eating sacks like fuckin Ms. Pacman and get some pocket presence. That just comes with time.

Overall they are probably two years out from being a perennial SB contender. I predict they will be like a 9-10 win team with the harder schedule.

I usually only show up for championship game posts and not the rest of the season. Pats lost so not much to say beyond it was a good showing post Brady even if they got owned by the seachickens

O-Line... Cambell and Wilson NEED to get better on the left side, they did ok for rookies, maybe switch cambell to guard IF he gets out played preseason by someone.... imo get 2 or 3 top 20 linemen... new center, guard/tackle in the 9-12 mill per range or go whole hog and shoot for linderbaum walker & edwards and have those 3 eat up ~60 million in cap space for those 3. or go for say mays tucker & ingram and save ~20 million a year.

receiver maybe shaheed doubs or robinson or pickens if you best avail...or draft someone good for a change.

tight end henry has been good hooper decent.. maybe shoot for pitts rest of the FA's are all 7+ year in league tight ends, or try to draft one it does not SEEM like a strong tight end class with the #1 prospect being a mid 1st round projection. nad the #2 being 2nd round....

  • S Jaylinn Hawkins -- did ok this year- maybe
  • TE Austin Hooper -- let go-mostly a blocking TE

Being born in 1970 makes me Gen X, you common core educated retard. My parents are boomers, of the ex hippie variety though, if that helps you to edge lord at all. And there is nothing sanctimonious about lamenting the end of another American tradition that has been invaded by the Message, especially after sitting through the legacies of other entertainment IPs and hobbies being invaded, warped, and then shit on by these people.

Every team in the league needs O Linemen for the most part, thanks to longer seasons wearing them down and not enough talent (lowest paying job in the NFL and shortest career span, so no incentive) to go around. That's why you saw so much uncalled holding all year, especially after a couple QBs got knocked the fuck out. I think my coach in GB has the right idea sort of, before out TEs started dropping like flies. Teams need to start running more double and triple TE sets with goal line style offenses and just grind plus nickel and dime down the field. You just are not going to be able to get a full line rebuild in the modern NFL, especially with where a team with the Pats record (and others with soft schedules) in the overall draft. And on top of that, it takes a minimum of two years to develop good O Line.

Pats might be in for a couple more seasons like this one (as are many other teams).

I don't give a shit when you were born. That whole "I'm from Gen XYZ so therefore I believe in X" is the biggest tribalism, "I'm not responsible for my actions" copout ever.

Just because you weren't born in 1950 doesn't mean you're not boomering hard right now.

Prince, Paul McCartney, Bruno Mars, Gloria Estefan, Whitney Houston, U2, and MJ all were amazing performances that had wide appeal. I don't even like most of those musicians but they put on some damn good shows.
