the super bowl proves the adage..
offense wins the regular season
Defense wins Championships..
the patriots defense was ALMOST good enough.
at the beginning of the game they had few missed plays or the pats would have been up 14-0 in the first quarter (they had 2 dropped/almost interceptions that would have been pick-6's in the first quarter-but alas)
for the draft
the Jets can improve a lot...2 first and 2 second round picks. that can reshape either an offense OR a defense if they go heavy on one side of the ball and it pans out.
but it's the Jets....
Rams have 2 first round picks as well,.. and were " " this close, they need some defense help imo
cowboys have 2 first round picks as well, but as long as JJ is there.
they'll screw up somehow.

The Cowboys do their BEST work in the draft. They just completely ignore Free Agency.

Oh I know the cowboys do good drafting. I'm saying that even with great picks...they'll screw up the season somehow.Pickens was a great pick Prescott was a great pick. all that potential and nothing to show for it. somehow they never get to the next level in the playoffs.
Its been 30 YEARS since they made it to the conference championship game(they won the SB in95-which was the last time they made it to the conference championship game.)
Next year barring injuries to major players; in my opinion rams Seahawks bears panthers packers 49ers bucs patriots bills jaguar chiefs Broncos Ravens Texans are my guesses for making the playoffs I think the chiefs have a bounce back year.
