Yeah right, pretty fucking easy to say you dont like a knee that needs surgery, especially when you realize you can sign a player that doesn't also cost 2 first round picks.

Meanwhile FA started and contracts have gone out assuming this guy was off the market.

Now you get less possible trading partners and a disgruntled player back.

This isnt even the first time the Ravens have pulled a stunt like this. I just wouldnt deal with these scumbags again.

Any afc west and afc north fans loving this?

Pat's traded their starting center- bradbury- to the bears, which means the most likely scenario is Wilson- currently the left guard- will shift to center- which i believe is where the patriots ultimately want him when they drafted him last year. which means the Pats need a Left Guard.

still need a #1 WR & a WR to replace Diggs- or sign Diggs to a new contract (doubtful), a TE to replace Hooper who looks to be gone most likely due to FA& 3 or 4 O-Line (including "depth"). Defense needs an Edge rusher and D-Line to Replace Tonga -who seems to be most likely gone due to FA...

and Sign Gonzalez to a multi-year extension making him one of or the top paid CB in the Game-currently.
Campbell is guard. Maybe they ignore left tackle and leave him as a doormat

We all know Murray is gonna have a good season and the Vikings wont resign him and he will go on to win the SB or be the highest paid QB in the league.

I Heard on the sports raidio that the eagles supposedly can afford to pay goddard OR brown on the team for cap space this year, not both.

no idea how true it is. i wanna see him a patriot. if he can be a team player like Diggs was last year.

My understanding is it is actually the opposite - with the way void years immediately apply to the cap, and the limited space the Eagles have, the Eagles need Goedert to sign some sort of extension to stretch out his void years to be able to eat the dead money from Brown _if Brown_ were to be traded. It would be easier for them cap-wise to not move Brown, especially before June 1st.

Give the limited space the Eagles have, and that 2026 draftees still have to fit into the cap, the Eagles probably have to restructure someone regardless, but if Goedert gets a void year heavy extension, that Brown trade may not happen until the draft.
