Lots of contracts have 'Conduct Unbecoming' language that allows that person to be suspended, fired, or at least have their pay diminished if they do anything illegal (or even just embarrassing).

I feel bad for Pearsall. When he plays he looks pretty good but he can never seem to string more than 3 games together without getting hurt and getting shot in the shoulder is kind of next level bad luck. I mean it's good luck that he didn't die, but it's a pretty low percentage injury for an NFL player.

I don't know how these players can put up with people telling them about their fantasy teams. If I was an NFL quarterback and I had a bad day and then encountered some nerd whining about his fantasy team, I would have no choice but to choke the life out of them.

Stefon Diggs is going home. The Gaithersburg, Maryland native is set to sign with the Commanders, per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
Needed to happen. I know they're optimistic about some of the younger guys but none of them are real WR2 quality yet (if ever).

I didn't think Luke Kuechly did enough to be voted into the HOF but since that's the only Panther Jersey I have , I'll be wearing it tomorrow when I watch the game. I try to pretend NFL doesn't exist in the offseason so tomorrow will be a big surprise for me. Even if it doesn't count. Best part of the HOF game is everyone sweating their asses off in that flyover country heat and trying to pretend it doesn't bother them.

Shorter career, but fwiw, in 8 years he was Defensive Rookie of the Year, had 1 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and after his rookie season was 1st Team All Pro 5 times, and 2nd Team All Pro the other 2 seasons. That's 1 more 1st Team AP and 1 more 2nd Team AP than Brian Urlacher had in 13 years. Only 2 less 1st Team AP and 1 less 2nd Team AP than Ray Lewis had in 17 years.
Patrick Willis got in recently after an 8 year career himself, he also had 5 1st Team AP's, but 1 less 2nd Team. Also No Defensive Player of the Year. Zach Thomas in 13 years same 5 1st Team and two 2nd Team selections as Kuechly. No Def Rookie of the Year or Def Player of the Year on his resume.
Think he stacks up pretty well by comparison.
