What the fuck? No matter where it lands? So swing passes that are a little too flat will now just be incomplete with no chance of it being a fumble? Underhand shovel passes will always be fumbles?

Rich Eisen read the rule verbatim and the very last part of the rules states "passes that are part of this rule are not considered intentional grounding."

It's like they KNEW they were bullshit and had to cover themselves.
