Aside from Internet Edgelord bullshit, its a couple specific things. First, fans are myopic dipshits, especially the newer generations. These impatient young fuckwits did not live through the fucking Forest Greg, Lindy Infante, or Mike Sherman years. I did. LFM is arguably the third best coach we have ever had, behind Lombardi and Holmgren. The numbers prove it on the face of things alone. He is certainly better than McDoofus, who's one ring came on a fluke season against a geriatric Steelers roster that we won DESPITE him instead of because of coaching. But hey lets fire the guy holding this shitshow together.......
We were supposed to be having to rebuild but instead we are still consistently a playoff caliber team (albeit with some consistent issues with our lineup). For my part, I was not sold on MLF initially, but now I am ride or die until he fails to get us in the playoffs at the bare minimum. Injuries have decimated us and we still manage to get in, despite being in one of the most consistently competitive divisions in all of the NFL (although this year looks like an off season). We have, for the most part, played smart and disciplined football.
A good chunk of the hate does come from hanging on got Barry too fucking long. And MFL does seem to make choices every once in a while that cost us winnable games, which is my biggest beef. Case in point this season, his choice to not take the fucking points and take an 8 point lead in against the Vikings when we had all the momentum was an example of this. Reffing aside, everything turned because of that decision and the team fell apart. But aside from a couple of those kinds of calls, he has taken what is really a mediocre roster led by a decent but not elite QB into contention year after year. Who do these fuckwit Gen Z shit for brains think would be a superior replacement? Even if you could get them to a small market team? Until the GM does something about the O Line, we are stuck in mediocrity and it is only because of MLF that we have not descended to Dallas levels of "This is our year!!!" decrepitude.

That team has so much potential, but it is being squandered by an aggresively mediocre coach. Quinn is the modern version of Riverboat Ron, looking better than he is due to talent on the roster but gambling big at all the wrong times. If the Deadskins take the fucking points there, none of that other bullshit (caused by desperation..... in week fucking 2) ever occurs. Commies were in that game up until that point.

Playoff caliber means nothing at the bottom end. NFL went from 12 to 14 teams, and that let in a lot of mediocrity. MLF under the old system would have missed the playoffs 2022-2025. 7th seed the last 3 years and getting blown out early speaks to his real chops as coach. Further, look at his record with Rodgers and his post Rodgers record. The gloss comes right off.
The real issue is that he isn't learning or improving as coach. No response at all to getting blown out, no response at all to losing stupid games. Losing to the Browns? Ouch. He needs to fix his late game situational awareness and become flexible....then you'd have something.

Hell, even I thought he was retarded when he was going for it instead of taking the easy 3 pts. That's without even thinking of the possibility of the injury. 99% chance of a positive result that increases your momentum going into the second half, vs 50% (at best) chance of a positive result and if you fail, it sucks all the wind out of your sails. The difference is I was glad they went with the retarded choice because it was the only chance of a positive result for the Cowboys. DQ is a great DC, he needs to stay in his lane.
The dude was fragile. As basic as that whole trip and fall was, it was obviously only a matter of when it would happen again. He was never going to last an entire season. Most of what he was doing well was with or because of his scrambles which means he was going to take some hits eventually. But take heart my grieving rival, Mariota is a better QB. I'm not saying he's a great QB but he's better than jayden and is definitely more durable.

Redskins won't move on from Daniels yet even if there is an opportunity to snag a top QB talent in the draft. It's going to be a Stroud situation where they keep trying to recapture the first-season magic by rejiggering lines and cycling through coordinators.
My hope is that if this season is disastrous (which is obviously trending that way), Dan Quinn will get shit-canned and we can bring in whichever young offensive wunderkind to pair with Daniels since, again, I am absolutely positive they won't move on from him yet.

Give me the names of three coaches who are better that GB could actually hire. That is the dilemma. I see isolated errors that are being learned from, but no amount of coaching can cure a bad O Line or mass injury.

Not exactly? He tries to hop over a defenders swinging arm, got his foot slightly clipped, and landed really awkwardly on that leg when he finishes the hop because of the touch to the foot. Initially it looked to me like it was going to be a knee injury, but a hamstring makes sense too.

Ok so was 'shrieking like a girl' exaggerated too or do the Bears gain some kind of advantage by waiting to the last moment to rule him out or not ruling him out at all? Cause it currently sounds like it's not that serious of an injury.

Break in half isn't quite correct. More like atomize. I've been a few feet away from an NFL player getting his morning run done. Not only was he HUGE, he was FAST. Really impressive to see an elite type athlete move. I am not a small guy, but a single game day hit would probable imbed my teeth into Jupiter.

Shrieking like a girl was definitely exaggerated by a guy who pretends he's really tough and "hard" on the Internet. He yelled in pain, but I yell, "fucking goddamn cocksucker piece of shit!" when I stub my toe really good.
And yeah, it looks like it isn't serious after the MRI, but I'm sure it hurt like a motherfucker in the moment. He does land really awkwardly, which is why I thought it was going to be a knee thing.
