Third movie in the Kenneth Branagh's detective Hercule Poirot series. Follows Murder on the Orient Express & Death on the Nile.

The first two movies were fun. I'm sure it will be great as well.

It was decent, a little slow and meandering in some parts. I tuned completely the fuck out when a couple of the nobodies were going on and on about their backstories. But it got itself back on track and wrapped up nicely.

Bro made Henry V that was insanely awesome. But u am not so much on the horror stuff he has done
It's not horror, just an Agatha Christie mystery. All the Hercule Poirot stuff is her works. There's been other films made back in maybe the 70s and 80s of them. Hell think she's had a lot of films adapting her novels. Remember watching a made for TV version of Ten Little Indians way back in the day.

Not spectacular, but definitely better than the first two because it left out the woke interracial/racism bullshit. The first two movies were plagued with it and there was always some quip or instance thrown in about it. Everyone was racist except the interracial couples who were soooooo deeply in love and Hercule has to let us know all the time how cool he is about it and its perfectly acceptable in society because this is Europe and not super-bigoted America.

This one is pretty much straight actual movie plot and they gave it a hint of spooky movie vibe that makes it interesting.

Yep needed a 10 to 15 minute trim on a variety of scenes toward the 3rd act to make it more hard-hitting. Even just shaving 2 seconds off some of the lingering shots in the 2nd and 3rd act would go a long way toward keeping the pace.

Too much lingering after an otherwise compelling 1st act that pulled you into the mystery.

Good editing would bump the rating up since the plot elements were all great. Wasn't terribly edited, just pacing didn't carry you smoothly enough to the conclusion and you start checking your watch.

This should have been cut to 90 minutes but it's a solid installment to the franchise either way.
