Remember all the people saying they were fine with 6 episodes.

I said if Bloys kept whittling down every series from 12 to 10 to 8 to 6 episodes that it would eventually also mean relaxing runtime requirements.

All the usual suspects at FOH replied saying they were fine with 6 episodes.

28 odd minutes for an episode in a 6 episode series-- proved me right unfortunately.

The only reason I think this works POSSIBLY as 6 episodes is because it's just a few days. Most GoT is months or YEARS in a season (remember how retards thought Varys time traveled because they don't understand time can pass off screen?). This is so far 4 days for 2 episodes and it seems to be keeping that pace or close to it.

There is more or less 1.5 characters here with nearly 100% screen time instead of 18 characters with 2-8 minutes each an episode so they can do things in a much shorter time.

That said I hope the finale is at least 45+ minutes in true GoT banger episode style where they go a little longer.

Shit and dicks aside, I like the show quite a bit. Only complaint is the runtime! I was pretty irritated when last nights episode came to an end.

Well understand the source material here is a short story, novellas. 1 per season. 6x 30min or 3 hours is more than enough to cover what is effectively "crazy shit happened this weekend" at ashford.

Thats the offer Bloys started giving D&D when they balked at finishing beyond season 8 for 9 and 10 (which Bloys had requested two more full seasons).

Ultimately Bloys is such a cuck he didn't even get a full season 8 out of them. They threw his offer back in his face.

Its on now. Preview for next week looks awesome. Really enjoying this so far, the casting is great. I think the infatuation with Tanselle could have been set up a little better but its a small complaint.

First 2-weeks were about 45 min. The 3rd was only 30 min. Really good show, none the less.

The short episodes take some getting used to. It's so rare these days to have an episode that's less than an hour the end always surprises me.

Episode was soo short, but still good. My wife and I are both enjoying it.

She thinks Arya's spinoff is going to be awesome. I think it's going to be mostly girlboss nonsense.
