Remember all the people saying they were fine with 6 episodes.

I said if Bloys kept whittling down every series from 12 to 10 to 8 to 6 episodes that it would eventually also mean relaxing runtime requirements.

All the usual suspects at FOH replied saying they were fine with 6 episodes.

28 odd minutes for an episode in a 6 episode series-- proved me right unfortunately.
I'm fine with 30 minutes and 6 episodes if they're all as good as these first three.

I know nothing about the source material and I have avoided all spoilers. They are setting him up as if he is going to get his ass kicked but I hope they pull a 180 and it turns out his master Ser Pennytree was a Garet Jax mofo and he turns out to be miles ahead of everyone else there.

No its not. They are all 6 episodes.
6 episodes a season, released 2 years apart. I'm not sure what these people are doing, but work doesn't figure into their schedules all that often.

Show is really meh. Grubby Mumbling Guys in Shabby Tents is what it should be called. That they are going to stretch out 41 minutes worth of actual content over 6 years+ really makes me not give a fuck about this thing at all.

You don't have to know about source material if you watched and paid attention to GoT, there was a scene were Jaime was going through a book about great people and Ser Duncan was the only one that had four pages when most people had maybe half a page. Dude was THE fucking knight apparently.

I'm loving the story and acting so far, but I feel cheated with this fucking less than 30 minutes per episodes, season 1 only has 6 episodes as it is, we're going to get maybe 3.5 hours and then wait a year for season 2, wtf is that?

I definitely did not pay that close attention to GoT.

They have already announced this will be yearly like The Pitt. They started filming S2 in December (shot for 10 days before breaking for Christmas) and it has a 3 month shoot with almost zero large scale (think Hardholme) CGI. They are making this a January thing.

SO when you are being a cunty little bitch atleast try to be accurate.

Wow, do you even watch TV? You weren't counting the pages in a book during a 15 second scene, and committing that to memory over a decade later? Were you even paying attention at all for GoT?

It's funny how you can tell if someone is an actual autist by the things they post.

Eh so uh, i think someone posted this already but minor spoiler here.

Hes a great knight in the same vein that Conan the barbarian ended up a king by his own hand. It happened eventually but these stories about his initial early days are not of him being this bad ass from the jump.

Obviously this isnt GOT, he doesn't like die in season one like our negro ned stark but yeah. These short stories basically give background history on the blackfyre rebellions but told through the pov of a commoner/hedge knight, he just happens to be around when all this historical shit is happening.

I am enjoying this. I am looking forward to his time to fight. The kid/actor does a great job. I loved the horse scene. The ending was obvious though I was not sure which Targaryen he was.

This show I look forward to every week.

Forgive me for not having the attention span of a goldfish and above average memory.
