Eh, I would have liked to have seen Lyonel in action, though the show may not want to paint him in too bright a light if it gets to Aegon's reign.

Honestly, the Humfreys get the raw deal - Beesbury gets, what, four words of dialogue? I get the audience is supposed to care about Baelor, but they kind of get shafted. It also makes it weirder Raymun survives with his limited armor considering the damage the rest of his side takes.

Yeah the fight was great. The 12yo mexican girlfriend part I could have done without. I mean she kinda deserved it. Why keep poking the bear?

Has this show left Duncan's POV at all? I'm not sure we as the audience have been privy to anything that Duncan wasn't for the whole show which is interesting. The fight was clearly all from his perspective.

That head wound was a little fake I thought. There should have been blood gushing out of that. It's not something you would walk around and no one would notice.

I think the helmet was holding his brains in.

The Helmet kept the blood from gushing. That being said, it would have poured out once it was removed. That would have led to his collapse, which did happen. Its a small detail.

I wish they would have just done the first part of the episode as Episode One. I liked the story well enough, but I am not a fan of flash backs that interrupt action sequences. It causes a stutter that loses the fluidity of the moment. Everyone watching this show was ready for the combat element. When it did hit, it hit hard. That part was well done.

Then of course it reminded everyone that this is a Game of Thrones universe.....

I kind of expected the ending but it still sucked to see.

So far the show delivers. I am curious as to its last episode.

Your occipital lobe is in the back of your head, he wouldn't be able to see if his head was caved in like that, and would no longer be conscious, and his helmet would be so deformed it wouldn't be removable. I understand the artistic choice to show damage versus the internal destruction that blunt force trauma causes in order to register on screen but that was extreme.

It's why you blackjack people to the back of their head, lights out.

Maybe it does not work like that in their world. You know, the world that has Dragons that weight 140+ tons that are capable of flight and breathing Fire. A world that uses a person's face as a way of disguising with perfection.

Oh and since this is medically related...perhaps the "gods" chose to keep him alive long enough to serve his final purpose. To help keep Dunc alive. You know, that world where the Lord of Light can resurrect people.

Its a small detail.

The scene wouldnt have the impact it did if he walked into with a bashed in helmet with blood spewing out. Save that for The Pitt.

Complaining about this being only 3 or so hours is lol.

Could you imagine the garbage they'd have to shovel into this season to make it 8 hours?

It's a 60 page book! Lol. It's one little nice story.

Give these fags five more hours and they'll give you tranny Knights and PoC Starks.

I get what you're saying but seasons have dwindled down from like 50 episodes to 20 to 10. Now we get 6 and done. That's pretty sad.

Imagine a season of Star Trek TNG being 6 episodes.

Tng was relatively episodic was it not? I’m shooting for a tight 8.

I've liked the character development up until this episode. I finally got fatigued on the constant side-questing instead of giving us some fkn action.

I wanted to see more of the fight. I would've been fine with 5-10 min of back-story on him meeting Arlan of Pennytree, but 90% of the episode? Sheesh.
