the dunk and egg books are around 150 pages, so he could knock one out in a couple months of writing. last time i heard him talk about writing, he said something like he need several free days before a writing secession and he would only write for 2-3 days. with all the other crap he has going on, would be surprised he finished one a year, but guess he does have 2 years to get it done.

around season 2 of GoT, he did an interview talking about how he thought they would get 6 more seasons out of the current books and he would have the other books done before they caught up to him.
