I'm going to hazard I guess and say this mini series is all about a little British kid who rapes or murders some girl, and the theme is how evil the host country is versus Alien Invaders. Might be at the end of the day the dad did it, and he's covering for his son, but also maybe throwing him under the bus at the same time.

I also find it kind of funny watching the trailer that a bunch of colored people are beating the kid up because that's the real British kids and they're not going to stand for such Injustice.

I'm never going to watch this, but that's my prediction. I'm pretty sure it's going to be about racism and unacceptance of your country being invaded by shitskins. I don't think I saw anything or at least a picture of the girl who was the victim, unless I missed it, but she'll probably be Indian or something.

I could be completely wrong but this smells like pure propaganda out of Barry's Netflix.

But what if I told you that the show is sponsored by Le Creuset? Jokes aside, I haven't gotten around to watching it yet. It's getting rave reviews, but I have my doubts. On the downside, well, it's Netflix. On the upside, it's co-created by Stephen Graham, and each episode was filmed in a single continuous shot. The girl victim is white, by the way.

I would only say that Le Creuset is still some of the best cooking ware made in modern history. If the show is super gay, that's pretty screwed up, but it doesn't mean the cookware is bad and you can't is it to make an amazing meal.

That's just stupid and gay, but superior cookware can still be appreciated. What the ever-loving hell though?

Welp, surprised not surprised.

That picture in the thumbnail is Axel Rudakubana who killed 3 girls under 10 at a workshop that ended up stabbing around 10 or so.

Show was not based on that person at all, inspired perhaps but knife crime in the UK is like gun crime here. 85% of teen homicides in Britain are from stabbing so yea kid was going to stab a girl in the show since they can't shoot up schools really like it would be portrayed if this was an American show.

Anyways these episodes being true one shot's was pretty impressive. Kid killer was not an actor prior to the show and gave the most realistic performance of a disturbed 13 year old that I have seen. Great acting all around on top of that. Social Media is a big problem for kids and has been for a long time.

It was inspired by Axel's story and others.

Right, race swapping complaints would be valid if the crimes were the same. Being horrified about violence against girls and making a show with a different and fictional kid, killing one person at a different location is not race swapping lol. Like say the show was made in the US and it was a school shooting, would race swapping be a complaint if one black kid did it last year?

1000% this is even a discussion because they named dropped Tate in the show, so his fans are pitching a shit fit. Yes social media is fucking up kids. Yes the kid in the show who killed the girl did it caused she called him an incel online. No kids are not equipped to handle this shit and its a real problem and people like Tate are exacerbating the situation. The show doesn't have easy or any answers, it doesn't show the parents being awful people, infact they are horrified cause they were good parents that didnt see anything wrong. The third episode is all the kid with a shrink and the shrink is horrified because they realize their training and approach doesn't work.

Its an excellent show, about shit that needs to be talked about. Yea we can laugh in the Incel thread here about girls fucking up or "inequality" or whatever, but I imagine at our age generally speaking we are more equipped to take a girl saying incel that or whatever to not go killing people. A 13 year old may actually not be.

Because the UK adolescent crime by use of knife is a white thing?

Its an everyone thing. Which is exactly the point. Axel may have woken up the public to knife crime + hated towards girls in a grim way because the kids were all under 10 and obviously didnt slight him so they made a fictional show NOT about him. This show isn't about a kid randomly selecting little girls to kill, its a kid who killed a 17 year old girl for the same rage that the black kid had.

Literally the first time i heard tate mentioned in conjunction with this. Folks are annoyed they spinned the dark skinned killer into a huuuwhite person so it appears to be a hate crime rather than a violent savage crime

Do you have any example news stories about English children stabbing others? I don't follow that self-immolation a lot.

Look if you cant differentiate between Inspired by and Based On I cant help you.

I am inspired by school shootings to tell a story of what drove a fictional kid to shoot up a fictional school who was white cause I want to star in it as the dad

I am making a movie based on the kid that shot up Uvlade in Texas HOWEVER I am making him black cause I am a black and want to star in it as the kids dad.

Got it? Ok.

Jesus Christ dude you are making me sound like BoozeCube BoozeCube

What was the race of the majority of perpetrators? Does Netflix have a history of race swapping? Answer those questions and if you still can't see it I can't help you.

I don't even really care, but I can be honest and see it for what it is. Which is why I originally said surprised, not surprised.

Its just a lack of media literacy by Asmongold. This has nothing to do with you.

Yes Netflix has a problem with this generally speaking in fictional shows where they race swap some character from One Piece or something stupid. I am arguing its a lazy complaint for this show that doesnt make sense since the crime, victim, perpetrator, outcome, and location are not the same. They made have been inspired by a horrific crime to make a show about a topic that is real, it doesnt mean it has to be based on anyone in particular, which this is not.
