man it's been forever but there was a unicorn or Pegasus , something you had to kill & loot for the mage epic. When I got mine I spent a lot of time in that zone. Had to go anon as when rangers saw a mage of highish level log in they wanted to be paid to track. Fun times!

I actually got the cloak the first time I killed it, as a 20 rogue back then, after randomly seeing it flying around while trying to pull aviaks back to my group. I threw a knife at it and ran back to the group, didn't even realize it was a rare or level 30, it slaughtered everyone but just as it was about to stomp me to a pulp, it turned and tried to run away, and I managed to finish it. Since everyone else was dead and bound in Arena or Freeport or Qeynos, they let me have it. I still have it to this day even though my account isn't active these days.

I recall reading something about killing mobs in 3-4 locations and that was supposed to make it pop. So that's what I did. Took a few days to get it to show up but when it did I killed it immediately and the quest piece was there on my 1st try. Just getting the damn thing to show was the hard part.
