i was trying to spruce up my avatar, and get into this whole ghibli meme and make a ghiblified spider.

i'm not any good at AI prompts. so these are the results:

I then asked if it could do the same spider in the "it's so tiresome" meme. and it gave me all this:

and my crowning acheivement is this nut sack of a spider:

This image was posted in the The First Descendent subreddit and I thought it was an interesting take on the character, of course the anti-AI types bitched about it:

So I wanted to do the same thing, but using a different "style", like using Boris Vallejo or Frank Franzetta as a stylistic base. I went to ChatGPT, but that wanted me to sign up for some other service called Pyxl Pro, so I was like nope. Tried Grok, and... well, its result was unrelated to the character and the style.

Is there some other way of using ChatGPT to create something like the above image, without going through its extra services?

Has AI gone to far?

No, no it has not. It still has quite a way to go, but keep it up! :trump:

It really is fascinating how AI art can generate new concepts I've never seen before. The apparent creativity, convergence and detail is exquisite.

Prompt using the --cref (character reference) directive: "A first Descent Character. In the style of Frank Franzetta"
