I don't get the objection. This was actual music instead of beep boop electronic noises. I found it a reasonable simulation of guitar and drum based music with vocals.

I think I agree human performers would be better at it, but I was contrasting this with the silly "AI made techno" that went around a year or so ago, not with human performers.

humans do that electronic beep boop bullshit too. We've always been comparing them to human performers.

You guys were referencing the AI generated music... I stumbled across this and I have found from time to time when I need mindless background music while I'm driving it's pretty solid. Called "wallpaper music". AI generated, specifically supposed to sound "familiar" without being any particular actual song.... All varieties, but for some reason I seem to gravitate towards the 50's style retro tiki/lounge stuff they do. They also have a whole series of "airline music" and one of "mall music".
