I haven't finished up all my trials for the week yet, but this is how I stack up on my server. So even 140k is still a fair way from the top of the leader boards, but not so low as to be at the bottom of the barrel. I've missed 2 Sieges and a few bosses after getting locked out for like 3 runs in the Abyss, during those times, unless I show up 2+ hours early, I'm not getting in.

To add some more context about normal players vs. the few actual whales out there... this is a guy on the enemy side of my server. Dealing with this piece of shit in the Abyss is quite hard. heh.

Oof.. Reminds me of when I played Mobile Strike on phone a few years back... whales would drop tens of thousands of dollars per week which seemed insane, lol. The more middle income people would pay me to buy them packs at reduced rates as I had set my app store account to some 3rd world country so could buy $99 packs for like $39 and would charge something like $69, lol.

I'm up to almost 1850 and my RNG is probably some of the worst of any game.. the only loot I get from expeditions is each time I get to open a pity chest, haha :*(

I want to know how they were able to achieve "Empty Closet" so quickly, you can't swipe RNG on getting all those unique skins (afaik).

Make a full stable of alts, one of every class. Every hour, check the Black Cloud Merchants and buy every skin available. Use the Combine option in the closet to hopefully unlock some Legendary level skins. I got the Nahma helm the other day as an example.

I'm around 1500/73k on my ranger now, did my 3 expedition vakrons, now I gotta do the conquests. Bad luck on loot so far, hopefully it turns around on the conquests. My biggest gripe is the amount of times I die/get trolled in expeditions by the game not gliding me until like 3seconds after the boost things throw me up, and then you can't get where you need to go. So stupidly annoying.

I had that issue, it helped me to jump into the thing rather than run into the base. No clue if that makes a difference, but it helped me lol.

Yea a video I watched said dismounting seems to help with glides (and it seemed that way to me in some of my experiments before watching said video on the dungeon mechanics, too). I think sometimes it's just lag from it throwing me onto a different server, cause sometimes the ground waves hit me like 2seconds before the graphic, too, and other times it's fine.

Jumping in while being mounted with at least a level 2 mount (glide enabled) helped me get the Vakron jump right 90% of the time.

Fucking game. I know it has a limited life span for me, hate the blatant P2W stuff and the singular design around one number. But I keep logging in.

What is it about Aion 2 you guys that play enjoy? I largely haven't followed it since I figured it was just more generic korean cash grab type game. I did play the first Aion for a bit and it was ok I guess, wasn't a whole lot of competition back then though.

I see some people actually playing this now so figured I would ask.

Way more than that, like waaaaay more. You need 700 skins in less than 2 weeks. All I can come up with is to do what you mentioned, but also spend many thousands to use Mileage to buy out the +% higher skins during combines.

I'd say you're 100% right. I haven't done any assassin, ranger, sorc or templar characters, so there's a bunch of skins on the table to get. I'll get a few more from the 3 alts that I have by collecting the Abyss skins soon.

Combat is mindless fun in this game. Can definitely zone out and play. Wish you could just get that part without the gear score grind and p2w, on maybe a separate subs server experience
