yeah you are racist for sure they are totally different but I do think the top guy (cyborg with flame arm) is for sure a callback to Yaphet Kotto in the first movie:

Of course he is, but how does he have a torch and a knife in the same fist like RoboCop had his data spike that he punched Clarence Bottiger with him with throat? It just doesn't make any sense.

They have called him a Cyborg a few times on the show; so he is different from a Synth, but we don't know exactly how. If it is the traditional definition then he is more human with robotics (like the funky tool arm). This is why he had to wear the oxygen and get in the safe room for the crash landing; he is not immortal like the synths/hybrids.

I know he's a cyborg, they established that pretty early between the two episodes. Maybe he's got a blade in one arm and the torch in the other but it looked like both were from the same appendage. I still believe Magician Jim it's going to end up being the hero some how.

Not sure why him having a multi tool arm is such a big deal. Is there something in the Book of Cyborgs that limits 1 tool per arm.

Yea we are getting into nitpicking for the sake of it. The arm is clearly not human in any way at all, so it has built in mods. Thats cool. Least the utilities it does have make sense (self defense, quick repairs), instead of turning into "whatever the writers need it to be"

Also I watched the second episode last night and I didn't understand the complaints either. Yea Morrow stunned and "gooed" for the lack of a better term the Alien but obviously that didnt really work out at all, since they didn't capture one that way before. How did people think they captured some of this shit? Did the ask the eyeball tentacle thing that animated a dead cat to come with them on a space adventure?

I really liked the line about the ball being proof something happened. Like they live in such a post truth world that humanity has lost all objectivity on what they are hearing is even real anymore, and yes when companies rule the world (and solar system) they would be only hearing whatever news that makes them look good and doesnt tank profits.

Kirsh is a stolen Weyland-Yutani synthetic right? I cant imagine they sell those to their competitors.

Kirsh might be a stolen Tyrell replicant/synthetic, his appearance reminds me a lot of Roy Batty. We know Tyrell exists in the Alien universe; in Aliens we see Dallas' records and they mention him working for Tyrell Corporation before he was captain of the Nostromo for Weyland-Yutani.

So I had to dick around with "forgot password" and whatnot for an account that doesn't have a password because I never had it before, and it used a defunct email so I had to go figure out how to get back on there. The password it wanted was probably my old Hulu password, hell if I know what it is though. I tried using a different email that I can actually get onto easily, and can log in with that, but it wants me to buy the subscription all over again even though I'm on the same device.

Could have avoided all of this by just using my main email to subscribe to Disney on the computer and watch it there, rather than going through the Roku box at all. Not sure why it can't just let me watch the thing I bought instead of having me figure out what the fuck I'm supposed to log in with to access my "Disney account"

Eventually said fuck it, I'm old, I'm tired, it's late, I've been out all day, I don't have the energy for this shit. I'll go watch it on a dodgy streaming site and sit on the phone with Disney for 20 minutes tomorrow to get my $11 back I guess. Which I'm sure they won't be able to do without me going through the same fucking hoops I had to go through tonight.

All of their consolidated holdings accounts are a MyDisney account.

So if you used to have Hulu, Or Espn, Or Disney, etc they all merged. So just hit forgot password with your Hulu account email and figure it out boomer. If you ever had one of those 3, you are all set. Or if you had an account with Disney world.

I wont click play on his shit but hes comment section usually parrots whatever he says in his videos since they are all very enlightened. You have people nitpicking a spaceship crashing but missing how these copo's play games and he wanted whatever that ship had so why would he warn anyone. You have people pretending the alien is a tragic villian when its obviously just an animal to be used as a weapon. Oh and they didn't even capture an Alien at all and its Morrow trying to play catchup since they only caught facehuggers and he is trying to contain something no one has ever seen. You have people misunderstand the hybrids are just AI mimicking human emotions and have no real powers other then the ability to manipulate data steams which was very clearly said (even if they dont understand how its doing it yet). You have people whining, people arguing in bad faith, people crying about a stun gun, and the obvious bitching about diversity when basically everyone isnt human at all (look man the color of the robots matters). Whining that they are kids, which is obviously missing the point, and whining about the word transition.

Like everyone understands this ends which the Neverland compound getting nuked right? I dont even need to read spoilers to know this. Between Boy Kavalier explcitedly saying he wants to control AI before it replaces people, the Aliens not ending life on Earth nor widely known, and the prevalence of Weyland-Yutani synthetics in all future Alien content which shows the hybrids were probably dead ends, this doesn't end well.
