I love the drinker but his stuff is usually riddled with spoilers so I won't watch him until after I've seen something. Angry Joe is much better for preview content because he does a separate spoiler free review.

Drinker went way too light on F4 though so he might be on the Disney bucks train now. His review for that was highly out of character.

What are the chances that what they’re going to investigate at the end of episode two is going to be what they were wanting to do in the first alien movie with Dallas?

Well I cancelled my 12.00 hbo max sub and got hulu, disney, AND hbo max for 16.

I thought it was great. I loved the throw backs to blade runner with the corporations and Timothy Olyphant trying to be Rutger Hauer.

Episode 1 was pretty amazeballs. I liked how they introduced the super soldier team by making them naive and childlike. It lets them grow into their roles and lets the audience grow with them. I think the main actress is very cute and very entertaining. Not your typical girlboss acting like a hard guy/male archetype.

The sfx are well done not cheap looking. The acting is good. The writing and throw backs are entertaining. And I loved the closing songs. I almost fell our of my chair when Dio started blasting at the end of Ep1. Not a popular radio song either, but one any 80s fan of the Heavy Metal cartoon will instantly recognize. Lots of 80s Sci-fi throw backs. I thoroughly enjoyed both episodes.

To me this is the direction Aliens 3 should have went. Not all the schlock we got.

dude if they throw in him being a Tyrell replicant after BR2049 doing the Sulaco Easter egg I’d be thrilled. I know I said my theory that he is a stolen Weyland-Yutani synth but that would make me smile

I made my gf turn off Shameless so I could watch this. That show is nothing but absolute faggotry so after turning that fiasco off this was a nice surprise.

No gaydar, no girlboss. Just some nice child euthanasia and a bunch of people getting eaten or chopped in half inside cool space ships full of alien monsters commandeered by evil androids.

I'm guessing they have the original kids in storage and they use them for face huggers to grow xenomorphs later.

Dude take it steps further and we have black mirror fuckery going on

They will make the jump that since the alien grows inside and pops out like a new being butterfly that all it is missing is the mind and if it came from the body so did the original mind imprint

Since the aliens are hive mindish they will use this as true taking over the lore and will show visions all the way back centuries of the aliens existence and what they say goes like predator

Or even accidental swap and whatever consciousness is in an alien will be in the synth body
