The absolutely astounding cleverness of the title blew my mind for a moment .....both are, every release cycle.

If there were a poll, TomatoGfx would edge out the rest.

Played EQ1 on a Voodoo 2. Upgraded to a Voodo 3 3000 when I got a new computer and a sexy AGP slot.

I used to think that the packard bell I put a voodoo 2 in was hot shit back in the day. Unfortunately that was only true in the literal sense.

having had ATI/AMD for like 10 years and switched to Nvidia last year, I can say that AMD is fucking god awful piece of crack whore diarrhea that is fed to a diseased chimp who proceeds to then defecate into the crack whore's mouth, continuing the perpetual cycle. I mean, you were lucky to have single driver update a year, it was a resource hog and clunky, lacked number of features...

It all comes down to driver support and Nvidia is so far ahead in that department it's not even funny. Before I bought my current GTX770 I tried an ATI R9 280X specifically for Mantle with BF4, it ran fanstically well, but I could not play any flash video at more then 5fps. It made youtube and the rest of the internet almost entirely useless. I sold it off to buy myself a GTX770 and it has worked flawlessly since.

Ive always thought AMD was the better consumer card performance vs price. Ive had AMDs in my PCs for years now, my wifes 2500K sports an old ass 5850, and my 3750K sports a R380X. And im aout to buy my son a RX480. Shits like $200-300 for a perfectly workable 1080 card, why spend more?

Oh and I also never had issues with any of their shit. Must be all you fucks and your ID-10T errors and shit.

AMD's drivers have been garbage since before they stopped being ATI, but things have gotten much worse since the acquisition. Price/performance is great, sure, but not if your drivers are garbage every single time.

I've always bought nVidia never touched anything AMD but I did make a decent buck buying a chunk of AMD around $2.50 last spring and unloading it at $5.50 a few weeks ago before their Q2 earnings. To my dismay it's up another dollar since then but I won't lose sleep on that because holding that stock I was always wondering when their next colossal fuck up would be.

Nvidia driver support x 100 > AMD (I am honestly amazed they are still even a player in the game at all)

Every AMD driver update makes their cards better, Every NVIDIA update makes their cards worse. I have no idea what any of you are talking about.
