The OG is a prime example the “perfect” 90s schlock movie. It’s completely silly, horribly acted, full of plot holes but a damn fun time watch on a Saturday afternoon.

I used to crush this, Congo, Devils Advocate, lake placid. I’m sure I’m missing others. For every truly great film we got a solid 2-3 of these summer “blockbusters”

pfft don't insult Lake Placid (or Congo and Devil's Advocate for that matter) by mentioning it in the same sentence as Anaconda, unless that sentence is to say how they don't belong in the same sentence as one another. Yes, I'm aware that you technically did not do what I just told you not to do.

Lake Placid is a not-quite masterpiece of comedy horror. Shit was funny as hell, Brendan Gleeson and Oliver Platt were great.

I haven’t seen any of these other than tropic thunder, and only saw that one cause someone made me go. I thought the one black guy was just a weird looking black guy. The only person I recognized in the movie was tom cruise, so some of the jokes flew over my head because of my skewed perspective.

It was okay.
