I'm all done!
Wonderful game, though it does feel like they planned out a full reskin of Anno 1800 + DLC, but cut the deeper parts to flesh out Anno 117 DLCs.
Only real complaint I have is the same as Anno 1800: The endgame is so focused on collecting specialists and the game mechanics don't reallllly support it. I'd prefer a system that didn't just use currency + rerolls, but instead used valuable components. I like the way Factorio's Space Exploration mod does it where the highest tier equivalent to specialists are so expensive they arguably not even worth it. The manufacturing tree in Anno 117 is so shallow this isn't really feasible, but I wish they'd find a way to accrue specialists more easily.
Check out this quick montage I made. I wish the game's audio had a Latin option, same wish I had in Assassin's Creed 2 and other games that exist in a non-English world.
