I just recently discovered this show and man I love it a lot. The one really memorable episode I watched was when he was to Thailand and just bar hopped all night. It looked fun as hell.

The new season started on Sunday and it was about Shanghai and it was a really well made episode and really eye opening.

Yeah, I have every episode of No Reservations & Parts Unknown on my comp.

One of my favorite episodes was about a restaurant in Italy called El Bulli (it has since closed down). You should watch that episode just because of how amazing the food was.
No Reservations, Season 7, episode 12.

Another good one was showing off some of the whacky shit in Tokyo (that robot play seemed awesome. I would have gone if I had time this last trip)
Parts Unknown, Season 2, episode 7.

You won't go wrong watching either of those episodes, but El Bulli is definitely the better of the two.

I thought it was on travel channel?
His new show is on CNN - Travel Channel couldn't get him access to dangerous places he dreamed of going but CNN could. Some places he has gone in the new show like the Congo and Jerusalem, he was basically traveling with a bullet proof vest and armed escort at all times.

He was talking about No Reservations which was on the Travel Channel. A Cook's Tour was the Food Network show (also the name of one of his books), and his first show. A Cook's Tour -> No Reservations -> Parts Unknown are all basically the same show.

This is funny because he was literally on Erin Burnett's show on CNN talking about him filming over there. There must be an episode for season 5 of him over there.

No Reservations, Season 6, episode 16. Liberia.

No Reservations, Season 9, episode 3. Sex, Drugs, And Rock & Roll. I don't know for sure on this one, but supposedly at least some of this episode is in Liberia as well.

Bourdain is the shit, they can dump him anywhere in the world and he'll always find some awesome food and booze. The Tokyo episode is probably my favorite, or the one in Spain with his camera-dude's family.

He had a short lived travel channel show called the Layover I think, he got shitfaced in almost every episode with the SanFran one being the best in that they were eating burgers at 3am and couldn't even put ketchup or mustard on the burger without getting it on themselves.

Every show Bourdain does is exactly the same, he's had like 3 or 4 where he travels to a different city and has X hours to show you around. They're all good, too.

Yeah. I definitely became much more of a foodie after watching his shit. I started to realize there was more to food than just eating at the local Applebee's. Now I go out of my way (and spend a lot in the process) to have good food from all over.

Whatever you do, don't watch his reality tv show "The Taste", the other judges are really horrible and Bourdain is really boring. (couldn't watch second season)
