I haven't played nearly as much as some of the other posters, but I feel I've definitely got my money's worth out of it. It's a lot of fun. If your son has another friend that might play, squad size is 3, so having 3 people helps. My brother and I cross play with another friend who's on PS5.

feels like this game is a victim of it's own success. They must be scrambling to get up to speed with a better content pipeline but I don't think they're there yet.
Having finished the decks and maxed out levels and expedition prep, doesn't feel like there's anyhthing to do for the next month or so.

They really need a non goofy way to trade stuff with people. I met a dude who just started, helped him around the map, then after got him a bunch of BPs to get going (Anvil and Toro all you need baby!). Doing the ole naked safe pocket suicide trades. Gay

Yes, already have trouble enough with the RMT spam accounts. What I've seen them kinda want to do is like an in game trade window or something so you cut down on people scamming, but it's not as easy like in Tarkov for market manipulation and other silly RMT activities.

When did games require tasks to keep people wanting to play a game. I play because its fun with the folks I play with. We laugh, talk shit, win some, lose some. I play because we have a great time not because I need to collect 10 bear asses to build my flux capacitor.

fair point. I play solo because that's my preference, and thus miss out of those things. I tend to play boardgames when I want those things.
Thus the tasks are required in order to do the same content over and over, without which I would have consumed all the content tens of hours ago, since it's quite shallow compared to something like Elden Ring for example.

Closed out the week of trials with like 90k roughly combined, just shy of +1 rank into one of the last few ranks. Knocked out most of the remaining quests I had to redo after reset tonight.

Trailblazers rip them up. I would go for the Hidden Bunker event since it is almost guaranteed 3 spawns on the map and you have 40 minutes of respawns.
