Personally, I think it has a lot to do with that PvP is second to PvE.. there is so much emphasis on a largescale/detailed map, with decent loot sprinkled throughout and engaging PvE encounters that don't feel bullet sponge-y(cough marathon cough) but also monster hunter/souls-likeish(weak points/charging attacks/identifiable move-sets/dodgeroll)... PvP feels less than half the game, but is absolutely a constant looming threat. The Cycle wanted this, they also prioritized PvE as the premiere way to play.. but their map sizes were small and people spawning in regularly; PvP was constant(esp at 20k+ active pop), people were hunting drop pods and gunshots regularly. I personally can't turn away from an extraction alarm going off, or alerted robots, but atleast I can't hunt down peoples spawns in Arc; Tarkov is bad about this too.. With The Cycle high tier areas had high tier mobs that requires medium to high tier gear for any sort of reasonable execution... but Arc has Medium/High tier loot area's with a mixture of low tier and high tier mobs.. there are always lingering Rockeeters, Snitches, Bastions, and Crawlers just moving about but you can evade them.. I want lure nades to work a little bit better because I will get that crawler to jump at a squad if its the last thing I do.It's incredibly similiar to The Cycle, but seems to work better. Not sure how.
October 30, 2025 release date. Kinda kills the hype for me. They had an announcement trailer but it was bad...
Yep. I was far, far more excited about the game before the most recent trailer.the characters in the trailer could of damn well been ripped straight from concord, looked dumb as fuck
