Maybe just make some stack sizes bigger. Some of the things only stack to 3 is crazy.

Would make my life easier.

I'm starting to feel like I'm playing ARC Crafters

I'd rather you just be able to loot the things I want to equip instead of components that I have to squint at between matches.

TBF that is only one single avenue of profit.
I don't even understand some of the stuff that comes with the retardo edition but I definitely understand that starting with both a stash and a secure container more than twice the size of a basic account is a huge deal. The secure container is stuff that you don't lose on death, it can be upgraded through in game quests but a basic account starts with 4 slots and a retardo account starts with 9. Retardo account also starts with a sniper, 3 ARs, 2 SMGs, and 3 pistols compared to the 2 ARs, 2 SMGs, and 2 pistols of a basic account.

It's more of a toll bridge than an avenue.

I have heard a lot of Tarkov players say that the highest price purchase is basically mandatory if you want to seriously play the game, so yeah, it's pretty much a $250 entry toll. Well, $200 now.

Edit to not double post.

Played a shit load of solos today and the only map that had consistent PVP was Buried City. I don't know why but people are super aggro on that map, almost always shoot on sight. Hit level 37, finished upgrading my stash and I'm sitting on like 200k credits so now I can just buy whatever I want on daily refresh. I guess I'll do the reset expedition after all, but I hope the exp boost is substantial. It takes an incredible number of mats so that'll probably be my focus for like a week.

Gave this game a good couple of hours. It would appear that PvEvP games just aren't my thing. The game overall seems good, though. So for those that do like them, this appears to be a banger.

save 5 light bulbs. Where I am stuck atm. Since been mostly selling anything with a diamond icon, just to save space.

If you can, save stacks of the high end trinkets cause the last stage of the expedition is to donate so much monetary value from each 'class' of item to the expedition. IIRC, its Weapons, Augments/shields/quick items, trinkets/nature/blueprints, and crafting material as the 4 categories.

I truthfully don't think you are missing much in the long run. I expect this game to burn brightly and then burn out. Unless they really keep up a good content release schedule the game quickly devolves into a 'well, what now?' bit where farming materials and guns is easy, especially with the security breaker perk and all thats left to do really is shoot people. And as a pure pvp game, its not really well optimized for netcode or weapon balance. It kinda turns into a mid BR with extra steps.

If it /is/ your thing and you like extraction shooters, its a great game for while it remains fresh. I personally like the ability to sneak around and avoid/ambush people. And there is a meta creeping up around griefing/pvp'ing with traps to which there really isn't much counter play at the moment. Also... people are starting to 'make their own content' with people LARPing as in game medics running around saving people and others that are doing extraction escort to help people get out. This is great emergent gameplay, but it also imo highlights the fact that the game really doesn't have much for you to do within itself at a certain point.

So if this is your genre, its a good fun example of that, but it doesn't solve any of the problems of the genre. It does have 2 things I think it does better than other ExShooters atm. 1 is ease of gear acquisition, which helps offset gear fear at the 'end game'. The other is the divide of solo and party queue. This is a double edged sword. You can't just 'chill' with your friends in a party as almost all party queues are warzones, however you can play a really chill game for the most part solo. Add in ease of gear acquisition and some of the best gear actually being green/blue it has a very low 'cost of entry' to just solo around and explore and do shit w/o much of a care.

If nothing else, you have like 2 months to get that for train.
Lol Nah, im getting close to done. Upgrading benches and such. This game has a very definite lifespan for me. I can't see myself grinding out all the skill points or every blueprint.

If I could get anything other then bettina blueprint. It's getting ridiculous. I'd love an anvil BP, but noo.

I think I still have a spare anvil, I'll be on in a little bit.

On that point, I think they should change it so if you do the expedition, your rerolled character gets a bonus to finding blueprints. The blueprint drop rates are pretty abysmal to the point I think they might be busted - it feels like 90% of the time I get bettina or light gun parts

Bettina, Anvil, Venator, Osprey (oh god the ospreys recently) and Torrenti for guns. I rarely see an Il Toro BP. I got the gun parts and those seem decently common. Supposedly depends on what you open, but I make a habit of opening all the drawers and lockers I can but yeah. There needs to be better blueprint drop system.

135hrs. I do almost no pvp cause I kinda find it boring, and I'm at 25/68 on Blueprints.

If you all need something let me know. I have a spare Anvil, Bet, Exp Mine, all gun parts, Il Toro, Osprey and Torrente atm that I am keeping to fed back to myself if I do the reset, but can easily refarm them.

Edit to add in, that I think they are jiggering the drop tables behind the scenes. Security lockers, while still profitable seem to have been toned down. I no longer get a purple as often, and BPs seem to be less frequent.

Dumb question, know for sure wolf packs have a schematic? Would be one way to balance them if they didnt exist. If they do, then actually really gay a few lucky people have essentially a gold mine at their fingertips.

Just got the Security Locker upgrade, been building to it since launch. Here's my first solo night raid with a single key used in Buried City. Was in there maybe 5 minutes. Walked in with an Anvil and a Toro.

Maxed my stash space yesterday and I'm back up to just over 400k credits. I guess I can just take whatever the fuck I want into any match now.

Yeah. People have posted getting it in game and the shown the recipe. They could be lying of course, but I don't believe so.
