I'm not the least bit surprised about the console vs. PC disparity.

However, several of the faggots that have betrayed me were pathetic wanna-be streamers with TV or TTV in their name(s). Probably looking to get a 'funny' clip for their 3 viewers. I don't know shit about streaming and have absolutely no idea if people can do it from a PS5.

I absolutely despise all of these aspiring 'streamers' and edgy, faggot kids out to troll people for a cheap laugh. That kind of shit has NEVER been me and if I see one of them, they instantly get sent back to Speranza. I'm sure I've killed a couple of innocents, but I'm completely over being a victim.

I've effectively completed the game until a content update. Now, when I play, I basically spend my time hiding in the shadows of high traffic areas waiting for assholes that are looking to gank the innocent and then nuke those motherfuckers from orbit.

Last game, I followed a guy stalking another player and the second he chucked a nade at his victim, I immediately stuck three Snaps to his back and ragdolled his bitch ass. The guy I saved tried to give me the Hullcracker he found that raid.

Yesterday, a new player was struggling with a Rocketeer and got 3rd partied. Me and another guy smoked the opportunist, but neither of us had a Defib for the downed kid. He said he some "good stuff," so the other guy and I used 13 bandages (making them mid-raid) as we escorted him to the extract, but it was so far away that he died anyway. The kid was legitimately new because he was desperate to extract with an Arpeggio I.

Mornings seem to be lots of Euros on the NA servers - you can't trust half of them, they're PK as hell.

Although one tried to kill me at range, then got closer and I killed them in a 1v1 and looted a Jupiter sniper rifle and El Torro 4 off him lol

I've played pretty much entirely friendly until today when someone was blasting Soulja Boy from their audio. I put a stop to that

I am curious what content moderation they have. I've flirted with saying some COD lobby stuff in voice and havn't caught a suspension or anything yet.

I am fairly bored with the game having completed all content except for the latest Live Event stuff, so I just pop in on occasion to shoot arcs with a sniper to get experience with bullet drop and travel time. Its not uncommon to have people come try and kill me, though usually I don't stay too long in one place. I expect this is mostly due to the sniper, even silenced, having a bit of a noise/location profile. Its amusing to me though that I shoot no one. Cover people extracting as I shoot arcs and pull them off the extractors and still have people come to kill me.

Whats really missing in this game though and I have no idea how they would make it work, is a way to see people again for revenge or the like. There is no real punishment for PKs. Its not like are a 'community' as in some of the older games with specific servers or small populations where you knew people by name. There is no way to get back at the guy. It kinda makes it all more dull for me. The gear loss is pretty minimal at this point, even with the security locker nerfs (though they nerfed that shit into the ground) so its not that painful other than just the 'really bro?' Aspect of some guy killing me for an osprey. But... it would be nice to have a motivation to log back in to find the guy and kill him. Reminds me of old MMOs where you knew your server population, their reputations. You encountered them in PVP and raid fights etc. But this? Nah. There is no 'community' really in Arc Raiders, despite how people talk about it having one. Just a bunch of randos and a test on your level of psychopathy.

RIP Venator?

Raiders!
It’s been a week since we stepped into Stella Montis. We have some updates from Speranza with bug fixes, balance changes and a little surprise.

Balance Changes

Items:

Deadline

  • Buy value: From 8,100 to 15,000 Coins
  • Sell value: From 3,000 to 5,000 Coins
  • Crafting:
    • Old: 2 Explosive compound + 1 Synthesized fuel
    • New: 3 Explosive compound + 2 ARC Circuitry
  • Deadline trader stock: From 3 to 1

Power cell

  • Sell value: From 640 to 270 Coins

Launcher ammo

  • Buy value:
    • Old: 10 launcher ammo for 6,000 Coins
    • New: 6 launcher ammo for 4,500 Coins
  • Sell value: From 200 to 250
  • Crafting:
    • Old: 6 launcher ammo for 4 Metal parts + 1 Explosive Compound
    • New: 6 launcher ammo for 1 ARC Motion Core + 2 Crude Explosives
  • Launcher ammo crafting is available at the Workbench without needing a blueprint.

Venator

Dev note: The fully upgraded Venator has been over-performing recently, capable of outgunning full squads using close range weapons. We’re re-tuning the fire-rate gained from upgrades to pull down the pacing a bit, while still keeping its damage and accuracy intact. This should encourage players to take some more time with their shots rather than mag-dumping the first poor soul they encounter. The community also rightfully pointed out that the weight of the Venator was inconsistent with the weights of our other pistols, so we’ve corrected that as well.
  • Reduced Fire-rate gained from upgrades from 22/44/60% to 13/26/40%.
  • Increased Weight from 2 to 5.

Explosive Damage

Dev note: We noticed that explosives dealt damage to more parts at once than intended, allowing weapons like the Hullcracker to kill larger drones too quickly. We’ve adjusted explosive damage to make it more consistent across the board, and we’ve re-balanced the damage of the Hullcracker to account for that change. This will require Hullcracker shots to need a bit more precision while still dealing good damage to the targeted spot.
  • Rebalanced explosive damage against ARC for a more consistent experience.
  • Explosions on smaller enemies, e.g. Turrets are largely unaffected.
  • Explosions on larger sized enemies, e.g. Bastion will typically deal a bit less damage.

Content and Bug Fixes

ARC

  • Fixed a bug where ARC could call down reinforcements outside the map.
  • Shredder
    • Shredder will now detect and move more reliably towards Lure Grenades.
    • Shredder movement and handling updated: slightly reduced turn speed, improved braking, stiffer suspension, and more consistent reactions to impacts for steadier behavior in combat.
    • Improved Shredder navigation to prevent it from getting stuck on corners when moving toward the player.

Audio

  • Reduced volume attenuation for explosion tinnitus and concussion effects to improve clarity.

Maps

  • Barricades can no longer be placed overlapping your character, preventing clipping through walls and access to locked rooms.
  • The Dam Battlegrounds
    • Fixed an issue where players would get stuck in the Dam Control Tower elevator shaft.
    • Fixed an issue where players could access the locked room on the Control Tower without a key.
  • Spaceport
    • Added collision to the staircase walls and ceiling in the Hidden Bunker on Spaceport.
    • Fixed an issue where players could enter the wall near the Launch Tower ramp on Spaceport, preventing unfair ambushes.
  • Blue Gate
    • Fixed railing props on Blue Gate that mistakenly blocked bullets; shots now pass through as expected.
  • Stella Montis
    • Fixed a collision issue on Stella Montis near the Train Station that could cause players to fall through the terrain.
    • Fixed a location in Stella Montis Train Station where players could get stuck.
    • Removed two player spawns on Stella Montis that were too close to ARC spawn areas.
    • Fixed missing visibility collision on walls in the Business Center area of Stella Montis that allowed shots to pass through.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed a crash when using Raider Voice (proximity chat) on PCs without AVX2 support.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when surrendering after reconnecting to a session.
  • Fixed an issue where scavenging parts from the Shredder could leave behind invisible collisions.
  • Fixed an issue where the Trials weekly rollover could display an outdated rank; the celebration now reflects the correct current rank and the UI remains accurate during the cooldown period.
  • Updated recommended AMD graphics driver to version 25.11.1 to reduce recent crash issues on AMD GPUs.
  • Your Raider Den has been ducked out.

Movement

  • Improved enemy ground detection to better handle steep surfaces, reducing erratic movement when traversing angled terrain.

Weapons

  • Aphelion
    • Fixed an issue where Aphelion tracers could become excessively bright at distance, reducing visibility for the player being shot at.
    • Increased Aphelion blueprint drop rates.
  • Stitcher
    • Corrected player facing stats for the Stitcher, showing incorrect scaling of reload time across upgrade levels.
See you Topside,
//Ossen
And the ARC Raiders Team

Fairly minor nerf, it's the cracker, and a much greater extent landmind got fuuuucked. Shame, the mine while good difficult to use.

Comments I see is their previous game they were bad at doing the helldivers thing and nerfing everything good.

Then they should have just adjusted the mid tier - it’s kind of fucking stupid to nerf damage to what are effectively raid bosses

I got lucky tonight. I came across a dead Bastion in Buried City. Two free Bastion cells. I just need four more now! lol

Sucks they nerfed some of the items before I could use them and/or try to take down some of the bigger enemies. Limited play sucks when it comes to that.

Positive side, the game is now Stream deck compatible. I'll download it and see how it plays. I don't think I'll be taking any major loadouts in with it but it should be fine to farm with the cheaper ones.
