The truth is the game is fun enough to do it twice, but i could definitely see myself abandoning this account in the future when the amount of daily activity increases or my main account starts getting more maxed out characters over time.

Rather than do that I'm just trying to play each Gacha game in turn. Started with Genshin, did ZZZ, didn't like it and dropped it, did Endfield, did Wuwa, currently playing through that story. Star Rail sometime in the future and NTE when it comes out.

I don't know how much gacha game experience you have but you're never going to be able to max everything nor should you try. There are always going to be good characters and bad characters and resources spent on bad characters is a waste. Even with your main team you need to spend resources where they're most efficient. You never have as much as you want.

My Laevatain for example is max everything. Including talents, which costs a lot in this game compared to other games. My Ardellia is 90 with a few maxed talents and a 90 weapon.

My Akekuri and Wulfgard however are both level 80 with level 80 weapons and only level 9 talents because more than that would be a waste of resources I could put into a better operator. I consider this team "complete" even though it isn't maxed.

The returns for maxing Akekuri and Wulfgard wouldn't even count for a second faster on top level content.

If you are desperate for more resources though, the paid battle pass gives a shitload. Far far more than other equivalent games.
