I might come back and check it out. Would be nice to start over and see what has been worked on this year.

Well when A1 was finished, I had said 2026. I am afraid I was wrong, as I feel it is more like late 2027 now. They are moving very slowly. They said on the stream that the company employs 250 people. Now of course all of those people are not game developers, but I would think at least half are? So 125 people programing code for this game, apparently is not enough to make real progress, in a meaningful amount of time.

There is so much left to do with this game. We have yet to even get the final class, much less the advanced classes. I did not see anything revolving the UI getting work done. Still have the other newbie areas and still another race to get added. Then of course you have quests for all of the new areas plus itemization and new mobs.

I feel like I am optimistic with my late 2027 projection when looking back at their rate of progress to this point.

2030 easy.
There’s just no way all the systems come together smoothly enough by 2027. Especially when you factor in the UE5 upgrades they keep implementing.
No, I think 2030 is being hopeful, but it’s possible.

I think the content is something they can add very quickly with all the developers they have now. They have been going pretty quick in terms of fleshing out the new regions, and have been pretty spot on in terms of adding another region every month and a half - two months. The tropics is very well done, probably their best. Jundark is pretty good too. I have not checked out the Dunzekell mountains north of tropics that was recently added. The first continent is 5/8 done now, with 3/8 being added in the last 4-5 months.

I think the bigger issue is all the complex systems that affect one another that they need to balance. Like phase 2 and phase 2.5 were completely different games with the only change being inflating nominal stat numbers on gear in order to nerf enchanting. In phase 2.5, uncommon and rare lvl 20 gear drops were the most sought after items, while components / recipes and legendary/epic materials not so much. Compare this to phase 2 which where we would destroy gear drops from named. Not even going to bring up phase 1 which was just so far away from what the game is now its wild.
