so i tested the summoner. as far as I know, it s not a multiple pet spec its a one pet at a time spec. you choose one of three pets.If you want a different pet, you will have to respec to it. i ll admit I did not spend a lot of time testing it. it may be possible to spec into all 3 at the same time, but could not figure out how to do it.

Sad Jabober face

This made me think back to the EQ best if the best tournaments. During the mage fight our guild leader had the mage epic and summoned the pet, expecting an easy win. But there was some buggy interaction with thorns that caused the epic pet to instantly die when it took thorns damage, so he got smoked by the other mage. He was fuming about that for a long time lol

Feel like many said similar years and years ago.His mom got him into multi-level marketing? wtf lol? The whole video was pretty fair though, Kira is one of the few non-rage-bait commentators.
I think it all comes down to Steven biting off way more than he could chew for his first game. From the streams I've watched the map of the world seems way WAY too big, then you have the node system, 64 class combinations, various pvp systems, player made factions with voting, sieges, and on and on. There's no way you could complete all that in a reasonable time frame.

The giant map thing I've just never understood. Giant maps just mean lots of empty wasted space.
That's quite a bit more than VG:SOH, even Brad(RIP) would have known better. His mom got him into multi-level marketing? wtf lol? The whole video was pretty fair though, Kira is one of the few non-rage-bait commentators.

I don't know, it seemed like they had a plan and better yet, project management to get this out the door. In retrospect, they should have shrank down to a single continent, cut tons of systems, soft launched etc but I bounced off this a long time ago since they more or less nuked Narc and have been waiting for them to reach a more polished stage of dev to come back in. That they are running out of money and star citizen keeps chugging on is maybe the saddest irony in the MMO space ever. They clearly wanted a big map with the idea that players would build cities in the open areas, but that is a double edged sword as evidenced by Shadowbane. Even in Shadowbane at its peak, there was so much empty and wasted space. You would just run through bland useless space to get somewhere meaningful.
IMO "giant big maps!" was a draw 20 years ago because it was a novelty, but players quickly learned that giant but empty isn't a draw
Its a shame too. I enjoyed Narc for all his weird intensity. I feel like he could have just ignored it and came out even higher on the list of streamers if he would have handled it well.I don't know, it seemed like they had a plan and better yet, project management to get this out the door. Edit: Narc deleted all of his AOC content and his whole YT channel; apparently he was getting so much hate he had to do a full clean break.

I have watched a small segment of people demand PvP over and over again in games year after year and unless the game is designed around it and focused on, like Arc Raiders/The Division or Shadowbane/Arch Age, or as stated, Eve Online, and it ruins games and attracts predators, looking "good fights".Its a shame too. Last I played was not too long before Asmongold tried it and bounced off it. I'm pretty much in the same boat. People wanting to PVP in this game.. and theres nothing to gain from it.. so it just ends up being griefing at this point (in my mind.) Though, like Eve - I enjoy reading and watching about its progress and whats happening inside of it.
