Very heavy handed on the Japan hate.

There's a scene where they are handing out boner pills (before committing an atrocity) and it wasn't even invented yet in the time period-- but they had to make sure the audience knew Japan used drugs to abuse people. Then there is a scene where the purpose is to show high ranking Japanese officials abuse children. Then there is also a depiction of slavery. Then there is also a depiction of torture. They took the worst history of the occupation and made sure to depict Japanese as a caricature of the worst rumors from the war.

Solid action shootemup with some martial arts. Subs are expert translated.
