James Cameron and Walt Disney Company Sued Over Unauthorized Use of Actress’ Likeness in ‘Avatar’
James Cameron and Walt Disney Company have been sued by actress Q’orianka Kilcher, who alleges they were not authorized to use her likeness.

According to the filing, Kilcher learned the truth late last year when a broadcast video interview with Cameron began circulating on social media. In the interview, Cameron stands in front of the Neytiri sketch and specifically identifies Kilcher: “The actual source for this was a photo in the L.A. Times, a young actress named Q’orianka Kilcher. This is actually her…her lower face. She had a very interesting face.”

Early on, he said it was going to be a 5-movie series that covers the entire world of Pandora and not just the forests and oceans. Avatar 3 didn't really expand the world at all, but introduced a new type of navee people. I assume there's still snow navee waiting to make an appearance.
