Before any of you were born, they made a film "Clue" (Based on the game of course) that offered three different endings depending on which theater you went to.

The film bombed, but by golly I went several times to different theaters just to see the separate endings.

Things to note: I am a nerd and none of the endings were good.... but I enjoyed the start of "itemization" in movies.
Any of us? Lurker was probably a grandpa already when that came out. All the endings were good and that was a fantastic movie. Maybe go watch battleship and then give this one a rewatch.

Clue came out YEARS after I was born. Come on now...

I remember Clue! I had the game before the movie came out. It was one of my "go to" games, due to how easy it was as a kid.

Clue came out in 85, it was only 14 years old when EQ launched, and only 19 years old when WoW launched.

I would assume that most board (pr predecessor) members from those respective launches were alive when Clue came out, though given that WoW has been running for 21 goddamn years, many newer players probably do postdate Clue (though I don't know why they'd join a board filled with cantankerous old fucks like us).

That clip was all I've seen online.

Looked legitimate, to be honest - ironically, that third world angled cam-recording makes it seem tougher to AI fake, in my opinion.
I would also think someone faking the footage would make more interesting footage, to be honest.

Regarding Clue, I never saw it in the theater but they played it all the time on HBO in the 80s. Butler was my favorite character as a kid so I didn’t like that he died in the “real” ending.

Curry was in a bunch of shit in the 80s. Remember that movie “the worst witch”? To this day I’m convinced that movie is what gave Rowling the idea for Harry Potter

Back to this movie, I wouldn’t be surprised if Steve’s kid is the real thing that causes the timeline in Doom’s universe to get fucked up

Clue is the horniest movie ever made that wasn’t an “adult film.”

Didn't they already do that with The Winter Soldier?
Nah. That was Bucky as the Winter Soldier, just an assassin for Hydra. Bucky wasn’t ever a double agent.

Captain Hydra is when Steve is a sleeper agent and a commander in Hydra, iirc.

There are a handful of classic MCU movies that really hold up.

Iron Man, Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Infinity War are my personal favorites of the MCU. Winter Soldier has some corny acting by the villains and the cgi isn’t great, but it generally holds up on a rewatch.
