They really fucked up by calling the last one Bad Boys For Life. This could have been Bad Boys 4 Life.

It already meets DEI standard so they don't have any real reason to mess with it. Black female leads can't really be marketed in a blockbuster.

Can't think of any off the top of my head in a lead role in a blockbuster (not supporting talking lead only)

Vanessa Williams jumps out I guess, but not sure if any of those are blockbusters in the 90's.
