I mean you can be an Nvidia purist and spend the $300 extra for the 5070ti for the 5%-10% performance boost in some games. But IMO its not worth. the 9070xt runs great. So far ive had no problems with it. Super stable not one crash yet, runsd super cool, and all my games ive tried run great. Big step up from the 3070 I had before. My kid has the 7900xt for like a year now and 6800xt before that and I hear no complaints from him about using AMD vs Nvidia.

I was super impressed with that case for $90. Its bigger than my old one but comes with 4x 140mm fans and a fan usb and LED hub on the back of it. Really nice chinesium for $90. Super air movement inside that thing with the 4x 140mm.
Was hunting around based on your specs and found the Newegg ABS brand of PC on sale. It's only missing another HD, which I can just order order one and plop in. For 2k and I don't have to fuck with it, thinking this might be the deal for me.

Looks good to me. You can always add an M2 drive later. They are only $150 or so.

It's arriving today at some point. I know for us gaming nerds there's nothing quite like new PC day. I kind of shelved a second playthrough of BG3 and my second playthrough of cyberpunk. My old machine was even struggling with rogue trader, but I guess even being the bee's knees 6 years ago, it was finally time to put it to pasture.

My wife was like what are you going to cook this weekend and I said new pc weekend, you're going to have to make due on your own. I say that but I think I might actually do Mongolian beef tomorrow.

I need an inventory management mod. Playing with only two players most of your stuff doesn't go onto someone else.

I looked at mods and most of the inventory stuff was like more bags or bags that came with stuff in them. Be nice if you could just rename bags but you can't.

Auto sort some items into bags when you loot them, like scrolls, potions, poisons, bombs. For the non-auto sort it highlights the bag it can go in when you pick it up, such as gloves in the glove bag and weapons into the weapons bag.

and to make bags bigger

There is also a mod to increase weight limit, such as double, triple, or even set it to 9000.

Just send everything to the camp chest and auto sort.

I'll look through the bag mod posted. I tried a few and the ones I got earlier were just bags of crap you get for new players. It's not a weigh issue. I carry all stuff I might actually use all the time on my two players. Anything that gets sent to camp is just for sale later. Some places you can't port back to camp until you are done with the dungeon or whatever so I carry a iot and switch out by fight.

My BladeSinger turned out real well considering I'm not much of a caster player. Lot of AC to the point the AI would attack shadowheart first every time rather than me. I did cazadore, Gortash and Orin. I'm not going for the brain with just me and shadowheart. It was fun though. I could do Anser maybe but I kinda lost my desire.

I'm considering another run so I'm gonna look at the mods for bags. Not sure on class.

Bag issue could have been solved if they allowed you to change the name on bags but apparently not.

I just started my first Honor Mode run last with a friend and 2 of his friends.

We reached the druid grove which was further than I anticipated for our first night. It went pretty smoothly, commander on ship dropped his sword and was easy kill after that. The battle at the Druid Grove gate went super fast, only 1 of us actually got injured.

Looks this might be fun, only playing 2 nights (3 hours each) a week though, so it will take forever to go through the entire campaign.

I kind of like doing shit like that. My buddy and I played a kingdom death campaign where we would meet 4-5 hours once or twice a month, played it for a year and a half but didn’t actually finish it. My dad and I played Wartales duo for like half a year. Seananigans Seananigans and I are doing kingdom death once a week, been going for a couple months now, should finish a campaign around December.

While doing those it’s fun to have your own solo campaign where you go a different direction than your group one. I probably wouldn’t do that on a first playthrough cause you could spoil some moments but if you’ve already played it, why not.

I played the campaign solo on normal when the game came out. Took me around 125+ hours. I was mostly a good person trying help.

I'm the face of the party being a Warlock, and well I don't plan on being so nice this time around. I just haven't decided how bad I'll be.

I expect this to take us around 3+ months, but it should be pretty fun. I hope everyone sticks around, I don't know my friend's friends very well so not sure how committed they'll be.

Issue is a number of paths, items, and companion stuff is behind your Tav being nice or somewhat nice. Also part of the reason a number of people don't recommend doing a Durge run first run through.

What kind of PC did you get? I've been looking to finally upgrade. Mines almost 6 years old at this point, and I'm lost in what's the new tech. Just haven't paid attention to the stuff in years.

Starforge, not enough free time and make too much money not to pay someone to do it these days.
