Well my honor run ran into some issues!

I went to do the Priestess Gut thing and drank the potion. I am an elf and totally forgot elves are immune to sleep which caused her to attack me and the entire front of the goblin camp attacked me. I did some shenanigans with storm sorcerer and the dagger spell. Arcane Archer Piercing Arrow REALLY did work here. So I survived but damn that was close.

If you kill the merchant who sells it you get titanstring off of him?

The Gloves of Thieving are worse than the Gloves with +2 slight of hand. Gloves of Thieving are the same as using Guidance just all the time.
Drops are by how much gold it sells for. So if you need a much lower gold item off him buy it first before you kill him.

Go up a level and push the woman that you give the chest to. There's a smokepowder barrel near where she should fall. Shoot it with fire, spells, or alchemist fire. It should kill everyone on the lower level including the merchant, if not maybe someone at low health left. You get the bow, gold off the woman that you give the chest to (300) and several scrolls from a nearby crate or something.

The more you play, especially on honor mode solo you realise the things that the item tip says one thing don't match reality. Not related but passs without trace and 19 skill in stealth is almost easy mode, "almost" until it 's not then hello lol.

Yeah early on I used shadowheart who had disguise self to pick up the portal to goblin camp and I thought I would get Gut killed, oops.

I have never finished this game and I have going on 300 hours playing it lol. I've never even made it to Act 3.

The more I play it, the more I am stunned with how many angles you can approach things. It is unbelievable.

Don't watch any of the challenge runners on twitch. Some do no consumables, region locked once you do a region you can't go back, only radiant damage, lvl 1 through the entire game, only necrotic damage the list goes on and on. There is a lot they do to make the game even harder. If you can think of it someone has probably done it or tried it.

I like the game and can do multiple angles, but I rapidly lose interest at the very end. I never bought into the massive floating brain. Just me.

Something new all the time. Current run I skipped the grove fight at the start like I do now. Came back after talking to Nettie and Zevlor was inside the gate as usual. But no corpses outside to loot. No idea what happened, poof gone. I didn't look to see if Wyll made it.

I don't cheese much or at all. But some solo runners will hire a hierling and every time they level Volo resets and they steal all his stuff each level. That's pretty cheesy.

The ultimate cheese now is start an action and cancel during the animation and somehow it works but you don't lose your action or spell slot. I didn't look into it that sounds like ultimate cheese never lose a spell slot, the person I saw doing it was able to cast while raging.

Hell, I had a hell of a time with Shadowheart when I first played. It wasn't until well into Act III of my first playthrough that I discovered Spirit Guardians. After that, it was just EZ mode with her.

Note on titanstring I didn't think about earlier. You have to unlock the stuff from turning in the chest to be a "friend of the family" for him to have it in his inventory before you kill him or he won't drop nothing but junk. I steal it instead of fighting tg the gnolls but you really have to be careful where you jump/walk to when you do it.

I like cleric for a duo. Build for dps and it's nice. Spirit guardians is nice and spike growth if you go nature cleric. It can reallyy tie up a lot of enemies and let you kill them as they slowy walk to their death. Clerics get so many spells to play with.

Ran into the Bullette and its legendary ability is some bullshit. I am noticing that certain items are way more expensive than they are on Tactician. The Caustic band is like 2500 gold when its normally 300. Storm Sorcerer is really strong in terms of mobility though. I aggroed the entire goblin camp so I am managing it from the rafters. I need to find a way to not kill my Queen Minthara so I can get her in my group later.

Imagine if Wizards of the Coast wasn't a piece of shit company and Larian was still working to polish/flesh out the game even further.

I didn't notice the increase cost, but I guess that explains the rarity bump.

You can knock Minthara out, then she'll be available at Moonrise to recruit.

Oh I know I just usually don't have to manage an entirely aggroed gob camp when I do this.
